The Demabon Aboriginal Association of Heping District, Taichung City, promotes the "common kitchen". In addition to recording Atayal recipes and brewing techniques, it also uses organic farming land donated by urbanites to provide food for the elderly and children. Tribal women use computers to write plans and provide opportunities for vulnerable women to work on their own.
