★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a viewing spot in a protected area where you can view the now endangered Formosan Landlocked Salmon. When we went there were quite a few swimming in the water below.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park. The ability to go into the water is very nice but the water was brown ( though still clean), the water was not very cold. Lots of fish and butterflies. We went on a Saturday afternoon in july and it was not crowded, maybe too hot? Park was clean and nicely done. There is a nice shaded hiking trail off the back of the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ River rafting! And probably one of the most fun places to go in Taiwan. They supply all the safety gear, although the trip down river is relatively mild, with some exciting rapids in one or two places. Everyone gets into the game of getting people in other boats as wet as possible. Lunch is served mid-journey. All told it takes about 3 hours down river to the sea. Once you're there everyone is taken back to the start by bus. Highly recommended!!
