Ideal for family trip! Spacious for kids to run around, lovely scenery for grandparents, and healthy (tasty too) food for all!

Beautiful construction, cozy environment, healthy and delicious cuisines. I’ll give a half more star if services improve. Waitress were no smile and lack of patience. Each dishes was served very slowly and it took more than two hours to finish.

What a beautiful place at xinshe taichung area. This is definitely one of the most amazing restaurant that serves high tea during 3-5pm! On first come first serve basis! The queue will start from outside the restaurant, upon entering you must remove your shoe to access the restaurant. Seating are first come first serve as well. There are two level and private rooms. The place is really clean! The view was stunning. One thing to note was there are flies outside so be careful. Spray some mosquito repellent. The high tea set is very worthy it for the price! They are very patience and will not chase you out of the palace.

A big garden restaurant at Xinshe Taichung. The foods are average and the service is not consistent, some are good, the others are not. According to our observation during our lunch, Li Ruen, the server is the best as she is kind and thoughtful when serving the meals to everyone. Thought it might have been a local restaurant, but the ingredients were emphasized the imported ones, like Iberico pork, Norwegian Salmon Skin and Argentina Prawn. It’s a restaurant with Japanese garden setting. The price is rather reasonable.

It’s a good experience to be here. The only told you the main course they will serve. Other than that, all the dishes are suprise and they were all nice. You will have some meat, seafood, rice/ noodle dishes, soup, beverages. The food here were fresh and delicious. You can also enjoy the view of the mountains. The decorations of the building and the garden was really beautiful. Recommend to book before you go.

Good place but I think too popular so less silence…

The scenery and environment around the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It’s a great place to see the view, relax in the tranquility, and take beautiful pictures. I loved that the restaurant allows guests to roam outside until their reservation time. The idea of an omikase (chef chooses what to serve you) is exciting. The price for an adult is 1480nt. The price for a child is 800nt. At this price range, perhaps we had expectations regarding the customer service as well as the quality of the food. Regarding the customer service, expect it to be friendly and nice. But it is not five star service, nor are they very attentive or good at explaining the whole process of the meal. Regarding the quality of the food, it is delicious. But it lacked in creativity and elegance. I was not impressed with the recipe or taste. But of course when food is served in small amounts and in pretty dishes, it feels better. But a huge part of this restaurant not being a five star is due to its lack of creativity, elegance, and boring taste. It received four stars mainly due to the beauty of its environment. It is definitely worth a one time visit. But we won’t be repeating the visits unless the chef ups his/her game.

The scenary of small backyard is good. It's rarely existed in Taiwan. But, the dining is normal.
