★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三和里重興祠建於清朝乾隆年間,根據中研院民族研究所典藏「日治1917年調查資料」,約1772年設立,為馬岡厝村里民奉祀之土地公(福德正神),主祀福德正神,配祀福德正神夫人。前清時期,馬岡厝在即為中部地區之古道休息站之一,從彰化府出發至犁頭店、四張犁往社口、葫蘆墩之中途驛站,依台灣人之習俗有土地即會祭祀土地公,六館業戶於雍正、乾隆年間開發此地區,故有其歷史年代也!
早期廟身狹窄,僅能一人立於門口上身前彎插香,廟內濃煙嗆眼,於民國七十年重建成現貌,有天公爐、廟埕、六角亭、金爐,楹聯一對,後方原有一棵近兩百年老榕,因故枯萎死,後來再種的榕樹已枝葉繁茂的像天棚。
筆者走訪地方耆老黃阿明長輩,三和土地公廟陪伴他大半人生歲月,談及兒時和遊伴在大榕樹枝幹間攀爬追逐、跳、盪、蹬彈,真是百玩不倦,附近的居民在樹下乘涼、談天說地,行旅過客歇歇腳,土地公就像慈祥的長者,照顧著著他的晚輩。
六O年代,有位林姓長輩看老榕樹根部裸露,就把稻田整地多出來的田土,覆蓋老榕樹根部上,沒想到妨害根部呼吸,綠葉漸漸變黃。又中山高速公路附屬工程港尾路拓寬,砍除東面大半樹枝,大榕樹重心失去平衡,在一次颱風中被連根拔起,枝幹壓到土地公廟,整棵樹被移除,近兩百年老榕走入了歷史,現之老榕樹是後來植入。
民國七十年廟要重建,龍善二街拓寬後,土地公廟已沒有拜庭,管委會分成兩派,老派主張廟身只能進不能退,青壯派主張廟身後退留出拜庭,各有堅持,後請來風水大師西屯阿本師,阿本師以『拜庭進即全廟進』的說法化解了這場歧見,原來風水之學還是要因地制宜啊!
重興祠後一大片的大榕樹鬱鬱蒼翠,樹上鳥雀成群,一遇黃昏叫聲喧嚷,好不熱鬧!惜土地公廟前拜庭仍和現今廟宇流行用鐵皮加蓋,屋脊、彩繪、剪黏…已被遮掉大半,莊嚴的廟宇建築藝術和教化信徒的意義,在人們不經意中被淡忘了。香煙在貢品上裊裊而繞,信仰文化代代傳承,祈求土地公賜福、賜祿、賜壽的同時,土地公應該也會期望信徒是誠正勤樸的子民!
The Sanheli Chongxing Temple was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It was established in about 1772 according to the "Japanese survey data of 1917" collected by the Institute of Ethnology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The God of Ford is devoted to the Lady of God of Ford. In the pre-Qing period, Ma Gangcuo was one of the ancient road rest stations in the central region. It departed from Changhua House to Litoudian, Sizhangli to Shekou, and Huludun Intermediate Post Station. According to the customs of Taiwanese people, the land would be sacrificed. The landlord and the six pavilions developed this area during the years of Yongzheng and Qianlong, so it has its historical era!
In the early days, the temple was narrow, and only one person could stand on the door and bend the incense in front of the body. The smoke in the temple was choked with smoke. It was reconstructed in the seventy years of the Republic of China. It has a heavenly furnace, a temple, a hexagonal pavilion, a golden furnace, and a couplet. Yes, there was a nearly 200-year-old banyan tree in the rear, which withered and died for some reason, and the banyan tree that was planted later has been like a canopy.
The author visited the local senior Elder Huang Aming, and the Sanhe Land Public Temple accompanied him for most of his life. Under the trees, chatting with the earth, talking to the earth, resting on the road, the landlord is like a kind elder, taking care of his juniors.
In the 1960s, an elder with the surname Lin saw the roots of the old banyan tree exposed, and he added the paddy field to the old banyan tree. The green leaves gradually turned yellow. Moreover, the Gangwei Road, a subsidiary project of the Zhongshan Expressway, was widened, and most of the branches in the east were cut off. The center of gravity of the big banyan tree was unbalanced. It was uprooted in a typhoon and the branches were pressed to the public temple of the land. The whole tree was removed for nearly two hundred years. The old banyan entered the history, and now the old banyan tree was implanted later.
In the seventy years of the Republic of China, the temple was to be rebuilt. After the expansion of Longshan Second Street, the public temple of the land no longer has a court of worship. The management committee is divided into two groups. The old school advocates that the temple body can only advance and cannot retreat. Each court insisted on it, and then invited Fengshui master Xitun Aben, who resolved the disagreement by saying that "Buddha enters the entire temple". The original study of Fengshui still needs to be adapted to local conditions!
A large banyan tree is lush and green behind the rejuvenating shrine, and there are many birds on the tree. It is a pity that the former pavilion of the public temple of the land is still covered with iron sheeting, and the roof, the painting, and the shear sticking have been covered for most. The solemn temple architectural art and the significance of the religious believers have been inadvertently forgotten by people. Cigarettes linger on the tribute, the culture of faith is passed down from generation to generation, and while praying for the blessing, blessing, and longevity of the land, the land public should also expect the believers to be honest and diligent people!
