★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 玉皇殿旁的普濟寺 (主祀地藏王普薩) 右牆 (中正街面) 有一方「遷善社番勒索示禁碑」，是因為早年平埔族人與漢人雜處，遷善社 (由沙轆社改名) 原住民常假藉各種事由，以社規為名進行勒索花紅、酒禮，造生事端，光緒12年 (1886) 11月，彰化知縣李嘉棠頒布禁示令，並刻製碑記立於玉皇殿以示禁事。

The Buddhist believes that Ksitigarbha, who is entrusted by Sakyamuni Buddha, is responsible for enlightening the six realms after the death of Sakyamuni and before Maitreya Buddha descends. At the same time, Sakyamuni ordered him to be the master of the netherworld, in charge of the affairs of the underworld. Although the status of the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is lofty, he once made a vow: "The hell is not empty, and you will not become a Buddha; when all living beings are exhausted, the Bodhi will be realized..." and he is regarded as one of the four great bodhisattvas.
