The quaint building has a long history and is well-preserved. It is an ancient house of the two-in-a-three courtyards. It has been a member of the House of Representatives, Speaker, and Doctor of Medicine.

The sacrificial ancestral hall of the Chen family has been listed as a city-level monument. The Chen family here is divided into three branches: Chen Sangang, Sigang, and Wuchang

The ancient home of the Chen family is a distinguished local family. The architectural pattern is kept intact and the courtyard is antique. There are still people living, which is a precious cultural asset of Longjing.

Sangangtang is in front of Triangle Street, Longdongli, Longjing District. It is no longer possible to examine the construction time. It is possible that between Jiaqing and Daoguang, the Zhang-born immigrant Chen Wenyi founded the foundation. His three sons, Zongyang, Zongyang, and Zongjie managed well, and his family was steadily growing, and Chen Zhai became famous as the "Sangangtang". This house is a three-in-one courtyard with two entrances. The left and right guard dragons are mainly made of bricks. The space is made of soil. The space is very large. In addition to the main entrance, the left and right guard dragons still have side doors to enter and exit. Due to disrepair for a long time and major renovations during the Japanese occupation, the hatchback roof was replaced with Japanese-style gray tiles, the main hall was also replaced with western-style red tiles, and the ancient southern Fujian bricks on the walls were mostly replaced by red bricks. The Chen family's descendants mostly developed abroad, and there were famous gentry such as township heads, county councillors, chairpersons, and doctors of medicine. An ancestor worship ceremony is held every year in the spring and autumn rainy season to remember the ancestors and catch up with them carefully.
