The Qingshui Kaijifud Temple was founded during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. There is a pool next to the original temple. It was used to wash away beggars suffering from scabies or other tumor ulcers. It is said to be cured immediately and benefited many. In the 10th year of the Showa era (1935), a major earthquake occurred in Shimizu, and the temple collapsed. The god of the earth was enshrined by the believer Cai Zhuru when he returned home, and the god of the earth was enshrined by Emperor Wankun. Incense plaques were scattered in the Yangquancheng store. In the 35th year of the Republic of China, six local officials, including Zhang Tianci, Cai Changfa, Cai Yichuan, Li Qimou, Yang Yanmu, and Chen Qingshui, initiated donations for reconstruction and welcomed the lost statues, artifacts and incense plaques back to the temple for worship. In 1949, the administrator Cai Changfa fabricated a roster of believers, formulated a management charter, reorganized the management committee, and held a meeting of believers. In 1949, the committee proposed expansion and reconstruction, but it caused a dispute over property rights. The Taichung District Court determined that the shrine belonged to a temple in 1991 and the administrator should be elected. In October of the Republic of China, the reconstruction project was completed, and the ceremony was celebrated with Ziyunyan on auspicious days in the midwinter of the Republic of China in 69 years. On March 6th of the lunar calendar in the 1980s, a fire broke out in the temple, and it was rebuilt on December 30, 1981. In 1984, due to the government's widening of the main street, the temple grounds were shrunk, and during the Thousand-Autumn Festival, pilgrims who came to worship were crowded and inconvenient. Later, the members of the temple ran away and finally found the temple property land that was donated by the ancestors and was occupied for a long time by the original temple. On July 10, 1990, the construction of the gold furnace and cultural building was started, and the construction was completed in September 1991.
