★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little beach with clean enough water for bathing and baby surfing, meaning small waves on normal days, to practice hopping on and standing up on the board. It’s a quick and nice drive from Taichung, and a great place to pretend to be on a tropical island while an hour’s drive from home. Bring sunblock and a beach umbrella or beach tent, and enjoy the fresh air and gentle surf.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably most fun beach you can come to being close to Taichung. It has hell lot of waves that's why lot of surfers come here. Great fun for kids. But there's no bathroom. After done playing in the water, bring clean water in the trunk so you can remove sands from your body. Also has lot of wind here so quite hard to stand umbrella or tent there. Also be careful, the water pushes to the seashore pretty quickly. Make sure your belongings don't get soaked into water or carried away the sea water.
