 Waipu is the back garden of Taichung City. The water flowing Dongtonghua Trail is quiet, and the flowers and the high-speed railway to the north of Taiwan are close to the north. It is the best private attraction!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 住在外縣市的我們因在地人的帶領來到這台中外埔，處處驚喜。這有著一片粉紅薑荷花園，小孩拳頭大的無花果園，河階地形引流傾瀉的永豐圳，觀看高鐵飛衝入鏡的畫面，這些都是在其他地方少有的精彩。
We who live in other counties and cities came to this Taichung Waipu under the leadership of local people, and we were surprised everywhere. There is a pink ginger lotus garden, a fig orchard with a big child's fist, and Yongfeng Zhen where the river terraces are drained. Watching the high-speed train flying into the mirror are all rare wonders in other places.

有步道可以往上爬，一邊觀賞水勢
上面可以接流水步道，再走400公尺就會到高鐵景觀台
