The Department of Mathematics of National Changhua Normal University was formerly the teacher group of Science Education Coordination of Taiwan Provincial Institute of Education. Established in August of the Republic of China, the founding of the People's Republic of China began to enroll students for the purpose of cultivating excellent teachers and increasing the opportunities for graduates of vocational colleges with teaching enthusiasm, and implemented an experimental class for three years (four sessions only). In the eighty-eighth year, a doctoral program of the Institute was established. In 1994, a master's degree program was established.
