There are 18 righteous people. It ’s a pity that this temple is really lacking in publicity.

The Huaizhong Temple is commonly known as the "Ancestral Temple for Eighteen People". In the 9th year of the Yongzheng Emperor of Qing Dynasty (1731) in December (1731), the Dajia Xishe Lin Wuli combined with the Puzi Lei and other eight societies to gather together into chaos. Danshui Tongzhi, Zhang Hongzhang, led the village to patrol the village and was blocked by the Fans. When the residents heard the news, they attacked and retreated, and assisted the Qing people who resisted. A total of 18 people were killed. Local people buried the Yimin people outside the west gate of the county, and the tombstone titled "The Tomb of the Eighteen Yimin People". In the 10th year of Yongzheng (1732), it was advocated by Li Qiaoji, a Cantonese superintendent, to sacrifice 18 volunteers. In the 51th year of the Qing Emperor Qianlong (1786), Lin Shuangwen incident, the county was captured and the Huaizhong Temple was destroyed. By the Qing dynasty, the temple had been abandoned and the tomb was still there. In the 14th year of the Qing dynasty (1888), the county magistrate Li Jiatang moved the Huaizhong Temple to the south of the Shengwang Temple (the current site).
