★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 受天宮在古南門城腳，建於清光緒年間，據宮內古匾「神恩廣庇」記載清光緒14年（西元1888年）廣東潮州人士答謝，以此推算迄今已有一百二十四年歷史，據宮旁耆老口述，以前宮身為竹管搭建，台灣光復後，由地方熱心仕紳捐款募建，始有今日宮貌
The Tiangong Temple was built at the foot of the ancient South Gate and was built in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. According to the ancient plaque in the palace, "Divine Enlightenment and Covering" records the 14th year of Qing Guangxu (1888 AD), the people of Chaozhou, Guangdong, thanked them. Fourteen years of history, according to the old dictator of the palace, the former palace was constructed of bamboo pipes. After Taiwan was restored, it was donated and built by local enthusiastic gentry.
