★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鹿港北頭郭厝保安宮於清雍正3年（1725年）為清真寺(台灣最早的清真寺)，寺旁有供禮拜沐浴的一口水井，清道光20年(1840年)改建為寺廟,主祀廣澤尊王及忠武王郭子儀。從閩南移民來的郭姓家族，歷史考証確是阿拉伯人的後代，先祖在元朝任官，到泉州監督糧食運送時遇到兵變，因而滯留下來，其子孫漢化後姓「郭」，隱居惠安一帶，形成白奇郭姓家族。這些穆斯林的部份後裔日後也輾轉遷徙到台灣及馬來西亞一帶。
 Lukang Beitou Guoyu Security Palace was the mosque (the earliest mosque in Taiwan) in the 3rd year of Qing Emperor Yongzheng (1725). There is a water well for worship in the temple next to the temple. In the 20th year of Qing Daoguang (1840), it was converted into a temple. Zunwang and Zhongwu Wang Guoziyi. The Guo family who came from Minnan immigrants, the historical textual research is indeed the descendants of the Arabs. The ancestors served as officials in the Yuan Dynasty. When they went to Quanzhou to supervise the grain transportation, they encountered a mutiny, and thus they stayed behind. Their descendants were named after the Chinese name, "Guo", and lived in Hui'an area. Formed a family of Baiqi Guo family. Some of these Muslim descendants also moved to Taiwan and Malaysia in the future.
