建立沿革：
南壇宮地處員林南門外，原為八堡圳畔牛埔地，創建年代尚無文獻資料可稽，在民國七十年歲重建落成。
正殿中龕主祀城隍爺、地藏王菩薩、包府千歲，正殿左龕供奉文昌帝君，正殿右龕供奉八堡井大將軍與夫人，八堡圳員林段築成時，庄民就在濁水溝北畔祭拜「八堡井大將軍」，建南壇宮時安座神尊祭拜之。

Establishment history:
Nantan Palace is located outside the South Gate of Yuanlin. It was originally Niupu by the Babaozhen. There is no documented date of its creation. It was rebuilt in the 70s of the Republic of China.
The main niche of the main hall worships the city god, the Bodhisattva of the Earth Zang King, and the Chitose of Bao’s Mansion. The left niche of the main hall is dedicated to Emperor Wenchang, and the right niche of the main hall is dedicated to General Babaojing and his wife. Worship the "General Babaojing" on the north bank of Zhuoshuigou. When the Nantan Palace was built, the gods were seated and worshipped.
