The name of "Xizi Village" has a history of pioneering ancestors: According to Shi Yuming, the seventh-generation descendant of Shi Zengdeng and the current head of Guangming Vacuum Company, the ancestor Shi Zengdeng Kunzhong immigrated from the mainland at the end of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. Taiwan was reclaimed and settled in Wading Village, Puyan Township. After the sugar mill was demolished, the descendants of Shi Jinbao rebuilt their houses and settled in the same place, called "Xizi". The place name of "Xizi Village" was also named because of this sugar mill, and has remained until now. In 1995, the descendants of the Shi family thought about the source of drinking water, determined to reappear the century-old old well water, organized the "Sugar Reorganization Preparatory Committee" and the Weizi Community Development Association to mobilize community residents to work together to renovate, and on November 19 Co-organized the "Sugar Mill 100 Years Old Well Revival, Reopening and Water Intake Competition".
