★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1861年載潮春起義，小埔心人陳弄(鄉民都稱他為啞吧弄)揭竿響應，一開始聲勢浩大、戰無不勝，被擁立為西王，但在嘉義戰役遇挫，退回小埔心，1863年4月清軍強攻陳弄陣營，是謂小埔心之役，陳弄率眾達2000多戶居民抵抗清兵，可惜最後因寡不敵眾，陳弄夫妻壯烈成仁，村民亦死傷慘重。當時遺留下來，以夯土築成的清軍古砲臺現仍存在，戰場位置就在現今合興村（合興國小）。

Returning to Xiaopuxin, the Qing army attacked Chen Nong's camp in April 1863, which was called the Battle of Xiaopuxin. Chen Nong led more than 2,000 residents to resist the Qing soldiers. Unfortunately, because of their inability to defeat the public, Chen Nong and his wife were strong and the villagers The casualties were heavy. What was left of the time, the ancient Qing Fort made of rammed earth still exists, and the location of the battlefield is now in Hexing Village (Hexing Elementary School).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 感覺還不錯,,,,設備蠻多,,,各式運動都合適,,,,,操場也是pu跑道,,,只是沙坑為何總是蓋个醜醜海報？然後建議跑道留給跑步的人,,,,那些一排人散步阻礙跑道真是水準奇低,,,拉低鄉下人水準....或是在跑道遛小孩（推車）也是無水準可言,,,,請把跑道留給跑步的人,謝謝
