Very accommodating and friendly hosts! So far the best homestay we had.

Host is very nice, friendly and provide a very good service. The room is very big and cozy. We enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

This place is so beautiful! Love the sunset at Eryanping! There are many local photographer there waiting for the beautiful sunset! It’s really worth it.

Very lovely place with a great view and great hosts! Sun rise viewing is 5 mins walking away from the homestay. Would definately come back again.

This place is near to eryanping trail. Go wake up early to see the sunrise at the trail. They didn't post their place online, rather people share blog to blog, the owner really a friendly couple. They demonstrate how to make a good tea. When we leaving we forgot some of our things and they sent it back to our next destination in taipei, they also helped us to get back to city and see the firefly.

Very cosy room and clean room. Hiking trail beside the accommodation is very fun with amazing views. Super friendly host! great breakfast and great tea on the house by Mr Cai and wife. Thank you both for your great hospitality.

An amazing experience - peaceful and relaxing. We stayed at 53 backpackers for 2 nights and loved it. The view from our window and the nearby xiding outlook (~2 min walk) is great for sunrise, and the view from eryanping (trail head right next to sister housing across the street) is perfect for sunset and a sea of clouds (depends on the weather). There are several tea plantations along the trail/in the neighborhood. It's also pretty convenient to head up to the alishan recreational area (an hr by bus) for further exploring though it would be hard to see sunrise at the main tourist viewpoint unless you have a car. The owners also own a tea shop and gave us a free tasting (the tea is very fragrant and refreshing)! There are a couple of cafes/restaurants nearby - check them out via google maps - but they do close early (8pm). Breakfast was provided with our stay (tasty sandwiches).

Very good homestay. A bit pricey but worth it. The couple owners with thier dauther are very nice and helpful. We stayed there one night ,went to Eryanping Trail where its starting point located beside the homestay. Traveller who would like to see the sunset at Eryanping should stay here, my recommend. It’s so convenience to see sunset and sunrise with sea if the cloud in very early in the morning. Peacefull place to spend a night to stop over before go to Alishan national Park. more tips : there are few restaurants nearby and close quite early about 7 pm. The food doesn’t taste good, from my view. A convenience store is 2km. from here. Prepare some ready-to-eat from Chiayi station is a good option. Otherwise, there are some Taiwan instant noodle for sale at the homestay. We came back from the trail a bit late. Then we desided to buy instand noodle. The owners, unexpextedly made it for us with egg and some veggy. Serve with pineapple juice, babana and orange with no extra chared ?. How generous couples!
