Tourists do not feed monkeys. It is a good hiking trail to get along with monkeys in peace.

The "Dengmiao Trail" in Ershui Township, Changhua, also known as Fengbai Ecological Trail, was the only road from Ershui Township, Changhua County to Songbailing, Mingjian Township, Nantou. (Commonly known as Shandingren) take the agricultural products produced by them, such as ginger, pineapple, bamboo shoots, tea, fruits, etc., from the mountain trail next to Shoutian Temple to Ershui Street for sale, and then buy the necessary daily necessities Follow the original road back to the top of the mountain. After Taiwan's recovery, the traffic has gradually become more convenient, and the people of Songbaikeng no longer trek through the mountain trail to Ershui to do business. This mountain trail is almost covered by weeds and vines. In recent years, due to the increasing living standards of the Chinese people and the emphasis on leisure life, this road of porters has gradually become a trail for hikers. In order to facilitate the tourists who are interested in climbing and the pilgrims from the Shoutian Palace to go up and down the mountain, the Ershui Township Office cooperated with the Tourism Bureau to pave the "Shitokengzai" road between the Shangfeng Village of Ershui Township and the "Moru Lane" in the 1970s 1.7 kilometers of hiking trails. We parked the car in the parking lot of Fengbai Square, starting from Fengbai Square, we walked towards Shoutian Temple, and then walked 190 County Road from Shoutian Palace back to Fengbai Square parking lot, completing the O circle, it is a route that the whole family can walk together. . The Songbailing Dengmiao Trail is rich in flora and fauna. Taiwan macaques are infested during the period, especially near the "Ape Watching Terrace". There are ecological commentary signs for plants, butterflies, and birds, which can be used for outdoor teaching. The crowds of monkeys are not afraid of life at all, and they will ask people to eat, but please remember not to feed them when you walk! The Dengmiao Trail has a lot of bird and butterfly resources, but the most eye-catching animal on the walk is the Taiwanese macaque. The monkeys on the trail are not afraid of people and even interact with tourists at close range! But in order to avoid affecting the original way of life of the animals, it is better to observe their behavior quietly. The whole trail is asphalted road and stairs, but there are trees lined along the way. There are several pavilions and recreation facilities. Except for the steep near Shoutian Temple, the other sections have gentle slopes, which are suitable for mountaineering and hiking. The last section of the trail goes up the new "Moru Alley". After coming up from Moru Alley, we first walk around the Shoutian Temple. At the end of the trail is the Songbailing Shoutian Temple. The view is excellent. To the west, you can see Tanaka, The rural scenery of Ershui and Xizhou has a panoramic view. Songbailing Temple Trail is a popular hiking trail in Changhua area. Travelers who love nature, I believe you will love it!

The trail is clean, and you can also see Taiwanese macaques along the way in the morning. If you walk up to the end, you can reach the Songbailing Shoutian Temple. The trail is about 5 kilometers back and forth, and it can be completed within 2 hours by walking slowly.
