是南投市民的精神信仰中心，座落於市中心精華地段，三安宮簡樸的建築外表，雖然沒大寺大廟那樣金碧輝煌，不過信眾香火仍絡繹不絕，每月初二、十六，是為祀奉福德正神(土地公)的良辰吉日，總能看見大批信眾供奉之鮮花與貢品，其匾額也因長年香火鼎盛而燻黑，可見三安宮的歷史文化，見證了南投市的發展。
