★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am not sure in what sense this is a "museum"! It's more like a collection of mochi shops with various mochi-themed decorations dotted about the place. You won't see how mochi is made or learn anything about mochi, but you can eat a lot of samples and of course buy all manner of average-tasting mochi products. We made the mistake of coming on a Sunday afternoon so it was jam-packed with tour bus visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The DIY teacher is pretty rude but staff are flexible as there are no class available, they helped us to check and organise one session for 3 of us. But it’s pretty hard for young kids to do the mochi due to the stickiness and they didn’t prepare kids glove and they had to wear adult ones. This factory is filled with food sample waiting for you try and buy. No entry fee. Prices of the food here reasonable.
