這地方成立於2006年12月，歸臺灣工藝研究發展中心管轄，裡面主要有七棟建築，內容包山包海，從吃喝玩樂到食衣住都有。這裡同時也是工藝ＤＩＹ的集散地，你想得到各種ＤＩＹ，在這裡都能找到。除了工藝類的推廣，這裡也是溜小孩的完美地點，在生活工藝館的四、五樓，有專為小朋友設計的童玩，滿滿兩層樓的遊戲和玩具隨便你玩，重點是完全免費，真有心啊！有小朋友或喜愛工藝設計的，推薦一遊。
