日月潭頭社水庫位於魚池鄉的台21線68.2Ｋ處，是目前全台最小最迷你的水庫，於1979年12月興建完成，會集大舌滿溪溪水與日月潭水庫滲流水而成，面積約有55公頃，蓄水約可達23萬立方公尺，頭社水庫海拔約700公尺，是日月潭周邊鮮少人前往的私房秘境，周圍環境清幽宜人，水庫周邊有頭社水庫環湖生態步道、山龍坑吊橋、大舌滿溪生態步道(野薑花步道)，環湖生態棧道長約1,600公尺，步行繞一圈差不多30分鐘左右 ，4-5月是賞螢火蟲秘境、也可見桐花綻放。

The Sun Moon Lake Toushe Reservoir is located at 68.2K of Taiwan 21 Line in Yuchi Township. It is currently the smallest and smallest reservoir in Taiwan. It was completed in December 1979. There are 55 hectares and the water storage can reach about 230,000 cubic meters. The Toushe Reservoir is about 700 meters above sea level. It is a private house that few people visit around Sun Moon Lake. The surrounding environment is quiet and pleasant. , Shanlongkeng Suspension Bridge, Datongmanxi Ecological Trail (Wild Ginger Flower Trail), the ecological plank road around the lake is about 1,600 meters long, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk around. flower blooms.

A location only revealed by the park ranger when we mentioned we were looking for a spot thats away from the crowd. Smallest reservoir in the whole of Taiwan too! Ssshhsss don't share this secret spot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An easy round trip surrounding the mini reservoir with views along the trail. Just park your vehicle at the trailhead entrance, and walk for about 0.6 km and you will come across the large opening. I personally recommend to walk on the suspension bridge first and do a counterclockwise walk along the trail, and take a rest near the monument area to enjoy the view. Total length is 2 km, and the trail is pretty flat without stairs, so it's pretty convenient for elders or children.
