Using fresh local ingredients and cook them the way they are for this tribal village next to Sun Moon Lake, the food indeed had some unique subtle tastes not found in other Chinese restaurants. Give them a try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there and turned out it was vegetarian week for Sun Moon Lake Area. So no meat available. We had a set for 5 people at 1500 NT (we are 5 Adults +1 girl). Good food. Mild taste for the soup. There is dessert with the set (no picture) it’s banana wrapped with fried noodles, interesting texture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must try place in Sun Moon Lake, freshest ingredients, great taste. Recommended dishes are Fish (Steamed - traditional and spicy, Crispy), Chicken, Hotpot Soup especially mushroom soup. Clam, Stir Fried Fern, Cabbage.
People here are very nice and friendly, and they can communicate in English.
There’s a long queue on weekend dinner, Reservation is highly recommended.

Fish is really delicious
Fried eggs is really amazing
Banana coated with pumpkin and chocolate make it a perfect combination as period.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken wings with stuff rice (飯飯雞翅) is very crispy. Service is great, the staff there is super friendly and thoughtful. ??
The portion is quite big, suitable for group visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were really attentive and friendly, especially one of the ladies. We ordered the set meal for 2 (600NT) which was a lot of food. Comes with 3 bowls of rice - one feedback though is that we wanted to substitute the 3 bowls of rice with 1 bamboo rice and top up 5 NT, but they didn't allow, of which we ended up wasting 2 bowls of rice which we didn't touch after. Would have been great if they were a bit more flexible and have less wastage. However still good food overall, and possibly the best value around the area, so I'll recommend you to drop by as the market shuts by 7pm otherwise.
