但未附有廁所。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周星馳電影裡有一句台詞：賞花，賞月，賞秋香。同樣地，來新中橫賞梅，賞櫻，也別忘了賞山。
台21線延途110K處是草坪頭，116K處是望高景觀茶園，觀峰景觀點則在121.5K處，該位置若以國道休息站比擬，類似寶山休息站或木柵休息站的功能，就是停車休息尿尿的地方。
話雖如此，但是，該景觀點有一開闊視野平台，可坐下休息之外，更可一覽前方壯觀的玉山主峰、北峰、北北峰，景觀指數幾乎破錶，此景只應觀峰有。走台21線要去塔塔加或阿里山的遊人，走過路過千萬不要錯過這百萬景點。
對於造訪此處的休閒指數，我給他五顆星90分評價。
只是，厠所一直說維修中，感覺主管單位廢弛職務。總之，這裡無法停留尿尿，僅供賞景，我的評價只在於對面玉山山景。最近再去，有人除草了，看來網民還是可以發揮一點作用，否則，厠所會一直維修中。

這次雲太厚沒看見玉山主峰。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 規劃草地綠蔭，有石桌石椅，可悠哉地遠看玉山，唯一不足是廁所不開放，四處蒼蠅，衛生不佳，可惜這個景觀。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雨過天晴，觀玉山群峰、與幾座栓兒明隧道的好地點。
沒有廁所，所以遊客即使開車進來也多半不會停留太久；四月份可以看到芒草上有非常多的苧麻珍蝶幼蟲與蛹，喜歡生態觀察的大小朋友一定會很喜歡。
很適合帶輕食野餐的地方！
After the rain, it is a good place to view the peaks of Yushan Mountain and several Shuanerming Tunnels.
There are no toilets, so most tourists will not stay for too long even if they drive in. In April, you can see a lot of ramie larvae and pupae on the Miscanthus, which will definitely be enjoyed by adults and children who like ecological observation.
Great place to bring a light picnic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today(1/13) was a right timing to see the snow covering the Jade Mountain. The spectacular mountain reminded me the climbing experience some years ago . Look forward to go back in the coming month . Even I was very far from the snowy white mountain , my fascination with Jade mountain was deeply touched. As Barry Finlay said , "Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing."
從新中橫公路132公里處觀山休憩區，回頭彎138k與133k等處都可以眺望玉山群峰的美景。
