★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 竹山老街就是以前的林圮埔老街，是先民於竹山最早開墾之地，「竹山形象商圈」是以「竹」為意像而成的商圈，街道猶如棋盤，方方正正，共七條主要道路，有「三橫四豎」之稱。老街內新古建築交錯，有現代商店、古早行業商店、古早味的美食小吃，還有三級古蹟的連興宮媽祖廟。
