★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for hiking. The place is so cold. 200 NT entrance fee for adult, not sure for kids. 150NT fee for parking area. We did not go to Giant tree which take 2km hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect, very well designed and friendly staffs. Many things to do as they have plenty of little shops and snacks to buy.
Room is very nice and my daughter loves it as it has a slide to have fun with. Interior design of the room was were thought out, love it...clean tidy room.
We made nooking including breakfast and dinner, the dinner was a set menu of 4~5 dishes, roast chicken only half of chicken not full but was tasty, the cabbage was sweet and sltasty a must try. Overall filling dinner was quite lovely.
Breakfast was lovely too with many selections, all are buffet so can pick what you like

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was the third time I visit in the hotel. The environment in Xitou is good. The air is crispy and comfortable. It is suitable for you to reduce your pressure at work. If you live here, do not forget to take a walk in the forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is known for its uniqueness and specialness. Even though it is a small village, it has variety of booths in it. Especially, the air is so fresh and chill. I highly recommended this one if you wanna stay far away from bustling city, it will be a good option. Btw staff members are so friendly and hospitable.

It's almost as if I am already in Japan.
Japanese built old buildings and shops looks so beautiful with their red lanterns hovering down the streets ♥
A lot of varieties souvenirs and local harvest fruits sold here ...Occasionally dances ? and musical activities are performed ? by their Monsters ? and youngsters.. remember to try purchase their special ? and biscuits ..❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quaint little place that has figures of cute devils and demons (including eyeballs as seen from the pics). However, a lot of restaurant has closed down probably due to the lack of tourists, so you probably won’t be able to find a lot of those snack stores recommended online.
However, still a nice place to visit and there’s a food area with cheap local food.
There are regular performances too at the main arena.
