★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There’s something about these stalls that have been cooking traditional foods for decades that make you focus so deeply in the moment. Visually, there’s the dripping chicken fat, the vibrant greens of the local vegetables. Then there’s the wafts of ginger from the clam soup. And texturally, the crunch of the chicken skin, with the soft tender meat. In the summers they keep their windows open where right outside you can see the beach and hear the people. We can’t take these stalls for granted.
An inexpensive place, we ordered a full chicken, 4 plates of vegetables, fried tofu, and clam soup to feed 5 people for just 1500nt. Includes unlimited rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here after visiting the beach and sunset. Quite crowded after 7pm, environment is clean and nice staffs.
Food is ok, but their steam/poached chicken is sold out so we had a go with the 'crispy skin', is about average. We didn't try the signature chicken as you can only order one whole chicken instead of half.
Free parking just outside the shop.
