代表的是這的建築概念，一心二葉，也就是阿里山的茶文化象徵。
裡頭有著各式各樣模型展示，其中最特別的是位於大廳展示的動態鐵路模型展，這是阿里山Shay蒸汽火車的真實縮小版，將火車上可以運轉的零件完整複製在迷你火車身上，因此能讓火車快跑，在跑的過程中還會冒出蒸氣白煙，非常逼真可愛~

There are various models on display. The most special one is the dynamic railway model exhibition displayed in the lobby. This is a real reduced version of the Alishan Shay steam train. The parts that can run on the train are completely copied on the mini train. Therefore, It can make the train run fast, and steam and white smoke will be emitted during the run, which is very realistic and cute~

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 在這裡享用雪花冰要特別小心杯子會打翻，是頭重腳輕的設計；不是服務導向的店家，店員態度非常不佳，無服務熱誠。首次去檜木生活村，卻因此影響旅遊心情，這是今天唯一遺憾的事。
Here, enjoy the snowflake ice, be careful that the cup will be overturned, it is a top-heavy design; not a service-oriented store, the clerk's attitude is very poor, no service and enthusiasm. The first time I went to the Tochigi Living Village, but it affected the mood of the tourism, this is the only regret today.
