潘	潘宗育 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 原本想去獄政博物館結果沒開，意外走進這個還沒有被太多觀光客入侵的地方，雖然很多房子已經損壞嚴重，但整體感覺還保有很多原味的建築風貌，除了少部分還住在這邊的老居民之外，也有一些藝文工作室進駐，但不會像很多台灣其他的老社區一樣被過度商業化、像是老街複製化的感覺，這個社區的範圍不大，大概逛個30分鐘就可以逛完，在小徑裡面漫步，可以遙想當年的生活景象，是一個相當舒適寧靜的地方。 I originally wanted to go to the Prison Administration Museum but it did not open. I accidentally walked into this place that has not been invaded by too many tourists. Although many houses have been severely damaged, the overall feeling still retains a lot of original architectural style, except for a small number of people who still live here. In addition to the old residents of the border, there are also some art and literature studios, but they will not be over-commercialized like many other old communities in Taiwan, and feel like the old streets are copied. The scope of this community is not large. You can go shopping in 30 minutes. You can walk around the trails and imagine the scene of life back then. It is a very comfortable and peaceful place.
K	Kenny Shen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 位於嘉義監獄旁邊，為日治時期留下的宿舍群，多為木造建築，日式風味濃厚，遊客少而得來清淨。某些建築仍有住戶及文創用途，亦不少建築已年久失修崩壞，但仍看的出日式傳統住宅的格局，很有趣。喜歡日式建築者可以到此拍照朝聖。如果政府肯花經費整修這些舊房並細心規劃，與一旁的舊監獄整合必定有潛力成為第二個檜意森活村。 Located next to the Chiayi Prison, the dormitory group left behind during the Japanese Occupation period is mostly wooden buildings with a strong Japanese flavor and cleanliness with few tourists. Some buildings still have residential and cultural and creative purposes, and many buildings have fallen into disrepair over the years, but it is still interesting to see the pattern of traditional Japanese houses. Those who like Japanese-style architecture can take pictures here for pilgrimage. If the government is willing to spend money to renovate these old houses and plan carefully, integration with the old prison on the side must have the potential to become the second Hinoki Sen living village.

紫	紫蛍 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 木造日式宿舍群讓我想到檜意森活村，但也因為沒整修完成，人潮不多，反倒能感受到寧靜的日式風情(京都的街道也很寧靜)，所以比起檜意森活村，我更喜歡這裡 ^_^ The wooden Japanese-style dormitory group reminds me of Hinoki Forest Living Village, but because it has not been renovated, there are not many people, but I can feel the quiet Japanese style (the streets of Kyoto are also very quiet).
