Reasonably priced and tasty turkey rice

Get quite a queue immediately after the store is opened. Turkey rice is really nice, with the rice soaked in the chicken oil. The vibe is a bit rough though.

People are so nice and turkey rice is very tasty I highly recommend you must be here to enjoy this traditional meal in this city.

The chicken over rice is a must try when you're in Chia-yi. Sanitation needs to be improved. Low price with good quality food. One of the waiters speaks English.

Rice in a lump form, very bad taste. All dishes are below standard… really questioning why it hasn’t got rated lower to the poor quality it deserves. There is a short hair woman clerk kept screaming at customers for not picking up menus, what a way to make unnecessary drama in order make herself appears to be superior than others. Really bad vibe restaurant with poor quality food.

Went looking for the stall around 6pm just now and wasn’t able to locate it. When we were at the verge of giving up and thinking of changing to another stall, the sign board of the stall came to sight. It was 6:30pm and the stall owner welcomed us to find a seat while they prep. Within minutes, the crowd built up and all tables were taken. Saw a sign that stated business starts at 6:31pm (glad to have been the first to secure a table lol) Food is good, price is reasonable. Recommend the 红槽猪肉 ??. If you can’t make up your mind on 火雞肉飯 or 魯肉飯 then choose the mixed version 雞魯飯.

A Xia’s Turkey Rice is located on Wenhua Road Night Market. It opens at 18:20. A Xia’s Turkey Rice is one of my favorite foods on this road. When we went to A Xia about 18:00, it already had a long line, but it had opened although it was not the open time Google map shows. We waited for only 10 minutes. We ordered turkey rice, fried shrimp rolls, squid with five-flavor sauce, and duck soup with pickles. I completely think it is worth waiting. The turkey rice was seasoned perfectly, and either the rice or turkey had a rich taste. Most importantly, the duck soap with pickles was AMAZING! I haven’t eaten such a great soup like this soup. In the duck soup with pickles, there were duck, pickles, and the finishing touch was sliced bamboo shoots. The sliced bamboo shoots absorbed the taste of soup and the salt of the pickles which made these two ingredients matched entirely and made this soup memorable. The fried shrimp rolls, squid with five-flavor sauce tasted great, too, but I can’t remember the details about them. I strongly recommend A Xia’s Turkey Rice! These four (from left to right) are duck soup with pickles, fried shrimp rolls, squid with five-flavor sauce, and turkey rice, I suggest trying the turkey rice and duck soup with pickles.
