★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place for kids and family. Excellent live tour with live inspects. Excellent guide who was patient and was willing to answer all kinds of questions about inspects. A must-visit place for family in Chia-Yi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, as probably a very first united states representative, I just want to say how clean, great and organized this museum is.
150 yen is the usual price which is VERY cheaply rounded to about 5$ US per person WITH a student discount otherwise it would be 200 yen which would be 7$. Still though it is a very great deal.
I would highely recommend this place to anyone of any age who wishes to see insects of almost any kind.
Cheers to the staff who monitor this place and upstairs they have gelato ice cream. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite expensive for a mediocre insect room and a butterfly pavilion. Every ticket gets 50nt off at the coffee shop, but you have to spend 200nt to qualify. Exit via the gift shop. Beware the mosquito infested car park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so impressed while seeing the 《魔蟲獵人》, this is so creative and innovative. I was totally shocked. This is a huge change that instead of showing the regular insect but recreating the appearance of them. Some people might think this gonna impact the sight and mind of children when they see it, but I would say this such a good opportunity to inculcate and teach them with something new and full of creativity stuff like this one. Brilliant!!!
