★ ★ ★ ★ ★ もはや全国どこでも買える嘉義名物の方塊酥。だがこちらのはここでしか買えないご当地限定のもの。やや高めだが香ばしくてサクサクと美味しかった。今まで食べた方塊酥とは全然違うおいしさだった。固めのミルフィーユって感じかな。
Chiayi's specialty, Hokuroku, which can be bought anywhere in Japan. However, this is a local limited item that can only be bought here. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree with comments that the owner is not very friendly, and that's probably why, unlike most shop in TW, they do not offer sampler. They must be so confident about their product that they can afford to turn away customers. I tried their competitor's version straight afterward, same flavour, and I've to say that they're very good indeed. The difference for me was night and day, and it must be the different ingredient use, which was reflected in their darker appearance.
