★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This fine hotel downtown is not far from city center and a night market or whatever. In terms of transportation, it is convenient. Yet meanwhile it locates in a hustling and bustling area and thus makes parking difficult.
Their room is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is great. The service is good and friendly in general. It would be nice for groups or family to stay over if having enough budget!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here, the service and room are nice. People are polite. This hotel has such great location where is so closed to the culture night market, you can enjoy many different kinds of snack and food. Walk to there , just needs about 5-10 minutes. I have a suggestion about fitting room, hotel offers some facilities but no instruction to teach how to use them correctly and the brightness is a little dark. I hope the brightness can be improved or can be adjusted that will be good to give nice experience. By the way, you can use free laundry room that is excellent for travelers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hotel is located at shopping center, and is in short walking distance to the largest night market in Chiayi. Hotel guests can drive through major highway tot eh Hotel's parking, and Hotel does provide a very convenient road map or direction for the guests to drive around the city and to exit Chiayi to other major cities.
The Hotel has excellent service desk professionals who are helpful, friendly, and patients.
Hotel room is clean, although hotel room is relatively small, especially the walking space between bed end and wall is relatively narrow.
When I was visiting the City and staying in the Hotel, temperature was low. The Hotel did provide free ginger tea for Guest to warm up the body, even though its rooms have AC for heating capacity.

Have stayed in this hotel recently. Every time we walked into the room there was a strong musty smell. after we turned on the air conditioner for a while, the smell didn’t disappear but stronger.
Also the parking spot is not on a first come first serve basis, maybe it’s reserved for some special important people, they didn’t let our car in even through there’s space while we arrived, we have to use the outer garage which is 10 minutes walked away from the hotel.
the motel quality room was a huge shock to us since they charge the price as star hotel.
the quality was a lot worse than its sister hotel in other city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is fantastic. Staff was great and very helpful and knowledgeable. English-friendly. Every part of the hotel was extremely clean. Breakfast was good.
However, the room was very disappointing for the price, especially compared with the other parts of the hotel. Two big problems: The mattress was very uncomfortable and had a dip in it. More importantly, though, the windows did not keep out sound or smell from outside. Even on the 7th floor, we could hear traffic quite clearly, and then when our neighboring balconies had smokers on them, it smelled very strongly in the room. We made a lot of adjustments to the windows but could not keep the smell out.
Maybe our room was an outlier, but for such a new hotel at this price point, I definitely expected better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit dated even though the hotel has been renovated. Has on site parking which is a plus though the layout of car park is very strange. Has free flow bubbly water like all Palais Chine hotels which is also nice. But otherwise a basic 3.5 star hotel.
