I grew up in this neighborhood till my high school days, having the habit of buying chicken rice from this shop whenever I came back to Chiayi for the past years. The last visit in Oct, 2015 convinced me to seek out other chicken rice shops for future visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Checkin rice is a must-try specialty in Chiayi. However, there are much more places with higher quality chicken rice in town. I wouldn't recommend this place for some reasons. It's not bad but not surprising. Besides, it's too packed. Check out other places if you are looking for one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It wasn't good at all... The rice was way too dry even I added some soup in there. They just couldn't stop asking my order. How many times should I keep answering? They don't even have prices on the board.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is not far away from Chaiyi Train station. The turkey rice is awesome. We ordered the fish skin, cabbage and the seaweed silverish soup. It cost us NT 230. Definitely a must try!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time in this city and among the hundreds of similar restaurants, we chose this one to try my first turkey meat over rice (NT$60). I actually liked it a lot, the meat was tender, not dry like typical turkey meat. The sauce or turkey oil on the rice was delicious, flavorful, not greasy and the rice had the right texture, not soggy. The tofu and daikon both were well cooked with good flavors. Good CP.
