★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 參加阿里山森林鐵路主題列車，每周三出發，五節車廂100人次。活動內容三個月一換。這回是從嘉義車站直接到十字路車站，回程到獨立山站和竹崎站。
內容豐富有趣，導覽解說員親切熱心有耐心。
有知識性，有趣味性，絕對值得專程來一回森林小火車之旅。
Participate in the Alishan Forest Railway theme train, which departs every Wednesday with 100 passengers in five carriages. The activity content changes every three months. This time, I went directly from Chiayi Station to Shizilu Station, and returned to Duxueshan Station and Zhuqi Station.
The content is rich and interesting, and the guide commentator is kind, enthusiastic and patient.
It is informative and interesting. It is definitely worth a special trip to the forest train.

The small train won't ride well, it will swing to Fenqihu along the way! After all, it was originally designed to carry wood! So don’t expect a good ride experience too much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最新的活動，蒸汽火車頭加檜木車廂，活動只到1/2號（聽說每年都會有這樣的活動），蒸汽火車頭只有2、4、6才有，其他是柴油火車頭。平時想坐檜木車廂，只能六、日來才有了，想嘗試的可以快快來
The latest event is a steam locomotive with cypress carriages, and the event is only up to number 1/2 (I heard that there will be such an event every year). The steam locomotives are only available in 2, 4, and 6, and the others are diesel locomotives. I usually want to ride in a cypress carriage, but I can only get it in six or a day. Those who want to try can come quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a scenic train ride to some stations at Alishan mountain area (we rode till Fenchihu).
Tickets are hard to get during peak season, especially because the train is only 4 carriages and theres only 1 scheduled a day. You can buy/pay online 15 days prior to your trip. You then collect the actual physical ticket from here.
You can't select seats (as far as i know when booking online). With all this difficulties, I understand some frustations online.
