從昇龍觀音上，陡坡很多，迎面甚至有蜘蛛網，約40分鐘爬坡。若先開車至從大湖社區石頭碑下，一路都下坡，但要有人先載上去，再下去昇龍觀音廣場等。
登山等級很像台南東山的孚佑宮的仙宮廟登山步道。
