Food was ok in Taiwanese stir-fried standard, but the service was awesome! In Alishan area (very touristic) it is hard to find restaurants with reasonable price, freshly cooked and good service. Will come here again.

After reading the reviews I decided to give this place a try. Im glad I did because I had a really tasty and affordable meal here. The menu is very simple and the dishes are similar to the other restaurants in the surrounding area. Food: 4 stars Value: 4.5 stars Overall: 4.25 stars Recommendations: cabbage, chicken and mushroom soup, stir fried bamboo I rarely feel that the vegetable dish is the highlight of the meal. However, that was the case here. The Ali Shan mountain cabbage is fantastic. We liked it so much we ordered a second plate after we finished the first one. The chicken and mushroom soup was also very good. The chicken in the soup is really tender. One of the local dishes that was less successful was the tea oil chicken. Some other reviews noted that the chicken was a bit dry. I had the same experience. The taste was good and still worth trying as it pretty unique dish.

I loved the mountain veggies!! Would have loved to try more kinds of veggies. Also got the chicken shallow fried in tea oil, which is a local dish. Good taste, but a very too oily for me. Rice is unlimited there. The soup e-fu noodles were okay, I wouldn't get that dish again. Good service and value! There are combo meals there but my friend and I weren't too hungry, so ordered a la carte.

Great place for sharing a food, the staff is very nice and kind. They allowed me to eat inside my own fruit and they even offered me to cut it for me. The portion of shrimps was great for its price and the taste was awesome as well. Definitely recommend this place for all of you in Alishan. Great food, best price.
