★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 從半天岩紫雲寺的小山路，過來這邊，感覺非常的不一樣。只是要回到奮起湖的阿里山公路，要經過奮起湖擁擠的商家街道，如果在假日裡人潮擁擠，那開車子就要特別的慢、特別的小心。近距離的跟人潮，在擁擠的巷道裡面緩步前進，每一張眼睛似乎都在跟你講：『你是怎麼把車子開進來的啊？』
Coming here from the hill road of Bantianyan Ziyun Temple, it feels very different. You just have to go back to the Alishan Highway in Fenqihu and pass through the crowded business streets of Fenqihu. If there are crowds of people during the holidays, you must drive very slowly and carefully. Follow the crowd at close range and walk slowly in the crowded lanes. Every eye seems to be telling you: "How did you get the car in?" 』

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely walks to be had here. Not too busy and nice and quiet. We felt like we has the trails to ourself most of the time. All the walks are well maintained and easy enough. You don't really need hiking equipment if the weather is nice.
Lots of tourists come here, but mainly to go to the shops. There's a few local shops and market stalls selling food mostly.
Definitely go on the cedar tree walk. It's fantastic.
