★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 這是一條跟魔戒系列中的精靈森林一樣的夢幻路徑，入口就隱藏在奮起湖車站月台對面，跨越鐵軌的咖啡與植栽店家旁。
This is a dreamy path similar to the fairy forest in the Lord of the Rings series. The entrance is hidden opposite the platform of Fenqihu Station, beside the coffee and planting shop that crosses the railroad tracks.

大約一公里外，途中經過兩個幽暗小徑，
原來就是通往奮起湖車站的糕仔崁古道，
走這裡環境清幽車子又少，距離也較短，
相對安全許多也更加快速！
算是一條不錯的捷徑。
Today’s crowds are raging, and the car stops at a higher place.
About two kilometers away, there are two secluded paths on the way.
It turned out to be the ancient road leading to Fenqihu Station.
Walking here, the environment is quiet and the car is small, and the distance is short.
Relatively safe and much faster!
It is a good shortcut.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 糕仔崁古道入口位於阿里山公路中和支線(169縣道)、公車奮起湖站前，
昔日是奮起湖至太和瑞里挑運農作物的古道，其名稱據說有一位好賭農民，將販賣竹筍所得輸光，而偷吃店家的糕仔餅被抓，店家要求他修築步道，來做為不送官府的交換條件，故名為「偷吃糕仔崁」，後覺得不雅改名為「糕仔崁古道」。是通往奮瑞古道的捷徑。
#阿里山山脈越嶺步道大串走(2019/1)
The entrance of Gaozikan Ancient Road is located in front of Zhonghe Branch Line of Alishan Highway (169 County Road) and Fenqihu Station on the bus.
It used to be an ancient road used to carry crops from Fenqihu to Taiheruili. Its name is said to have a gambler who lost all the proceeds from selling bamboo shoots, and was arrested for stealing cakes from the store. The store asked him to build a trail to do it. In exchange for not sending it to the government, it was named "Stealing Cake Treasure," and later changed its name to "Gao Tsai Kan Ancient Road" after feeling indecent. It is a shortcut to the Fenrui Ancient Road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did a nice loop up to a small wooden temple then down the 'Cake Thief' trail. Beautiful in the clouds, slippy though-watch your step.

The view here is very relaxing and nice for a slow walk as not many people seem to crowd around in this place.
It is a bit narrow.
