We were welcomed by the Chiu family. Ms Chiu is a wonderful cook and we ate like kings.
The small wooden house was also a great experience, well heated and isolated from the cold in winter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in a quiet and serene environment where the only noises you hear is from the birds and animals and the water. Beautiful view on a tea plant from the room which had great natural wooden smell. Nice environment to go for a walk to the nearby tribal villages. Friendly host. Chinese style breakfast. Leather workshop inside with small exposition of tribal leatherworks and the option to make your own keychain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Offering a very nice, newly made, clean, relaxing room in a beautiful countryside, this place is really a must to relax and enjoy the mountains. We got a great Surprise dinner made as very tasty local dishes, which combined BBQ, fresh vegetables, rice and pumpkin soup. At the workshop in the evening we learned to prepare a key chain and some unforgettable memories. The included shop offers also a lot of beautiful handcraft leather bags and accessories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The surrounding area is peaceful, and really captures the charm of a mountain countryside setting. It's both picturesque and relaxing.
The lodging is comfortable and the host is welcoming and hospitable. I can't say enough about the dinner that was provided, an absolutely delicious assortment of local foods that were well prepared and presented. The rooms are clean, feel new, and are located between the national park an numerous trailheads.
I would highly recommend a stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relaxed fairly new B&B located in the mountains at around 1200m near the Alishan Township office. Clean super nice rooms and a very pleasant atmosphere located in quiet nature. Built around a leather workshop with various product options all done by the owner. Dinner and breakfast delis Taiwanese style with BBQ meat for dinner grilled on an open oven in the yard. Sitting area in the front for spending a relaxed afternoon or evening after hiking the various trails nearby.
