★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 公廁旁的豆腐/油豆腐好吃，而且不早點去很容易就撲空買不到油豆腐，最近二代年輕人開始幫忙漸漸接手，態度親切，身材高壯哈哈，值得推薦。
但市場停車位真的很需要多加規劃⋯⋯⋯

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雖然大概要很早起，有時候會有一些好吃的神秘東西?但需要運氣～例如我沒有在其他地方看過醃小黃瓜（不是西式的）炒起來真的好好吃很下飯，去嘉義市東市場問卻沒有人知道⋯還有麥仔煎我覺得比嘉義市的好吃（個人意見）偶爾會想早起買東西吃的地方！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 這個市場基本上是早市，但是下午還是會有少部份的攤商出來營業擺攤，而且都是在禮拜一固定休市，不過還是會有些許攤商出來營業。因為是很傳統的市場，來這邊買東西的都是中老年人佔了八成以上。雖然有規劃停車場給來買東西的人停，但是似乎沒在管理，車位半數以上被佔用，週邊也不好停車，所以蠻多人都是騎機車進來買東西，人少的時候倒還好，人多的時候就很人車混雜，逛起來就很不舒服。
這邊實聯制成效也非常差，可以說是不到一成的人有在掃實聯制，甚至口罩也不戴好，而且對於在水上生活的外籍人士也沒有相對應的宣導文宣。
