According to legend, the temple dates back to the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (about a hundred years ago). From Tianzi (now near the second market in Puzi City), the believers Guo He, Guo Que, Guo Yuan and others went to Rokko Chishan to invite Guanshiyin Buddha incense. , And then sculpted statues of Buddhas and gods in turn to be worshipped at home. Until the early years of the Republic of China, Guo’s family built an encampment for the soldiers of the Buddha. Every mid-year memorial ceremony, the encampment was built by soldiers to invite the Buddha to worship. After Taiwan’s recovery, the number of people praying for peace and blessing increased. Believe in the Buddha's Ridu, the believers negotiated with the Guo family to build a temple to worship, so that the Buddha's light will be shining to protect Qunli, so Guo Dinggui initiated the fundraising of the old Taiwan dollar 798,300 yuan, and chose the present location to create Qingtian Temple. The first administrator of the temple was Guo Dinggui. After Dinggui's death, he was succeeded by Yang Guoqi, the chief of Zhuwei in Puzi City. Guo Lichang passed away on May 21, Republic of China, and a meeting of believers was held on October 11, Republic of China. The believers elected Wu Tian as the administrator. The temple has an area of ​​46 square meters and was originally owned by the State-owned Property Bureau. In 1987, the manager Hou Shuitian and local officials Lin Bilong, Hou Qingwang and others jointly initiated land purchase and fundraising. The annual price acquisition and merger are completed and registered as owned by the temple. The temple faces the north to the south and is located at the intersection of five roads, with a wonderful geographical location. Since the establishment of the temple, due to the vast power of the Buddha and its incomparable manifestation, the daily traffic and crowds are endless, but it can protect the environment and the people, and the people and vehicles can be smooth. Even if there are car accidents, it does not cause the loss of life. If there is any prayer, it will be sensed. Therefore, believers and miracles throughout the province come to worship and pray for blessings throughout the year. The temple is now a wooden single-story building. It has been nearly 50 years since its establishment. The beams and pillars have been pierced in many places, and the roof has been slightly inclined. In addition, the south passage was widened in the Republic of China, and the corridor beside the temple was demolished. Because the structure is safe, and the original space is narrow, believers come to the temple to pay homage, and suffer from repeated suffering. For this reason, the temple has decided to raise funds and rebuild it into a reinforced concrete building. . The total project cost is estimated to be NT$20 million. Fundraising is currently underway. We hope that charitable men and women from all over the world will actively donate so that the new temple will be completed as soon as possible.
