Singer Wu Bai has a song that says: Abba went to work A sugar factory and swept away. Maybe he was talking about this sugar factory? When I saw Torii, I would really think of the song (Air Raid Alert).

The Garlic Shrine, located in the Suicheng Cultural Park and Garden of Garlic Sugar Factory, is a miniature ancient Japanese shrine that has disappeared in the Garlic Sugar Factory. The Garlic Shrine, built in the sixth year of the Showa era (1932), was dedicated to the god Amaterasu. The history is quite long and ancient. The shrine was a place of spiritual sustenance for the Japanese during the Japanese Occupation. After the defeat of the Japanese, the garlic shrine was destroyed and buried in the mud. After the torii was discovered, it was reorganized as it is today. Only the torii and the pedestal were left in the Garlic Shrine at the time. The statue of Sun Yat-sen was later rebuilt on the pedestal. Although it is very different from the original Japanese shrine, the entire Japanese Garden and Garlic Shrine are different. It still retains a considerable degree of primitive Japanese style. The two stone lanterns in the front were also purchased by the Garlic Sugar Factory to restore the Garlic Shrine to its original appearance.

The torii can be seen from a long time ago, and the column body is also engraved with the Showa year and month, which can feel the situation at that time, but after the torii is actually a statue of Chiang Kai-shek, it feels too strange. It is recommended that the government should synchronize and install a shrine. Yes, there is less sense of violation!
