Gubengang Outdoor Archaeological Park, located in Bantou Village, Xingang Township, Chiayi, next to Fuxing Iron Bridge, is an archaeological relic. A large wall is written with the archaeological process and relics unearthed in Bantou Village and Bengxi in 1999 and 2003 by the archaeological team of the Guben Port History and Natural Science Museum. The memorial buildings in the archaeological park have a special appearance, and many partial shapes are suitable for mirroring, especially the light at 3 or 4 in the afternoon on a sunny day, which is definitely a good background for wedding photography or Internet celebrity photography. The Beigang Stream bed, which is two or three hundred meters away from the archaeological park, used to be the former site of Bengang. More than 400 years ago, Bengang was an important Han immigrant settlement on the coast of Taiwan. The immigrants from southern Fujian crossed the black water ditch and left their hometowns. In order to seek a smooth and safe future, many people would bring the local folk beliefs of Fujian with them. to an unfamiliar island. Therefore, Bengang has a Tianhou Palace dedicated to Mazu. Later, there was a natural disaster when the Beigang River flooded and diverted its course. After the disaster, the immigrants from Quanzhou in Bengang moved north to develop the current Beigang, and the immigrants from Zhangzhou moved south to the current Xingang to re-establish the livelihood of the ethnic groups. . Now standing on the embankment watching the Beigang stream go west, looking back on Taiwan's modern history, it can reflect the changes of the world.
