Thanks to the efforts of the Wuguwang Temple and the local people, it has been preserved. The standard Tatsuno-style architecture is a testimony to the prosperous cat hunting. Really great!

I didn't come out to walk, I didn't know that this was one of the three major buildings in Minxiong before. It was beautifully organized and all four doors were open. I came to know that there is this history.

★Past: The Chen family is a prominent family in the local people. According to legend, Chen's father-in-law became rich by discovering the gold buried by thieves in the yard. Therefore, Chen Shihua, the big landlord who built the western-style house, is known as the "Thief House". But in fact, his descendants said that the reason why the Chen family was rich was because of the successful development of water conservancy facilities in Fengshou Village and the cooperation with Dalin Xingao Sugar Co., Ltd. in the sugar making business. Chen Shihua’s eldest son, Chen Lianbin, was a doctor. He considered that his clinic and his home had hygiene concerns in the same space. He decided to separate the house. So in the 1920s, the father and son hired a Japanese architect (it is rumored to be the same as the one who built the presidential palace). The team) assisted in the design and built this elegant building. For this reason, this western-style building presents the "Tatsuno" style that was popular at the time. The biggest feature is the alternating red brick and off-white laces, and the tower design. The facade looks a bit similar to the reduced presidential palace in the middle. A two-story western-style building, the main entrance hall on the first floor is used as the hall of gods, and the four rooms on the left and right sides are used as living rooms. There was originally a tower on the second floor, which was said to have been used as a piano room and embroidery room, and the Japanese-style space behind the main building was used to entertain Japanese guests. ★Now: Today's Chen's House does not face the fate of being ruined like the Liu Family's ancient house (Minxiong Haunted House) as people go to the empty building. The Chen family decided to sell it to the local faith center Wuguwang Temple, and Wuguwang Temple was also actively maintained and preserved and became a park next to the temple. The building itself has become an office of the temple, but it does not seem to be open. In fact, this is a pity. In the absence of detailed introduction, exhibition space and other planning, few people will notice here and its precious value. Perhaps because of the gorgeous appearance, some dramas are set here, but more often, it is less known here, just a small space for gatherings and leisure of local people. Time flies quickly, as fast as a torrent, flushing away youth quickly. But coming to Fengshou Village, looking at this magnificent building of nearly a hundred years, and feeling the leisurely pace of the countryside, it makes people feel that the time that originally passed in a hurry seems to have stopped in this way. Still in the most beautiful time, only the satisfaction of the harvest, and the happy smile.

Only the exterior of the building can be visited! The interior is not open to the outside world! The whole building uses red brick as the main building material, and the appearance is conspicuous and beautiful, and there is no lighting equipment in the park at night!
