Minxiong is considered an ancient town, so there are many temples. This temple should have a history, but the architecture does not show classical features. Weird!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20211003: 來到民雄本先要參觀某間廟,結果在整修,就回到這間保生大帝廟,
裏頭有箸石碑和匾額的古蹟,廟方更說其它保存箸沒公開,看完後,廟前有家賣古早味手工糯米大腸攤位,一個個人潮不斷,看起來不錯吃,但沒買,想到家附近也有賣,但是店家老一輩走了,那口味換第二代接手,真的是有差.
20211003: When I came to Minxiong, I first wanted to visit a certain temple, but after it was being renovated, I went back to this Baosheng Great Emperor Temple.
There are historical sites with stone steles and plaques inside. The temple said that other preserved chopsticks are not publicly available. After reading it, there is a stall in front of the temple selling ancient handmade glutinous rice and large intestines. I thought that they were also sold near the house, but the older generation of the store left, and the taste was changed to the second generation to take over, it is really bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Similar to Bao-An Temple of Taipei, the Temple also worships Baosheng Tadi, the Health Healing God, as the main deity, while it also worships other Taiwan folklore deities.
Although the Temple was originally built in 1753, however, the current site was rebuilt in 1976-1977.
The Temple does not charge entrance fee, and bathroom is open to the public for free.
The Temple is located at the corner of Min-xiong market, and, thus, it is almost impossible to find parking space within 5-minute walking distance. However, if the visitors are willing to walk to the end of the market, about 7 to 10 minutes, visitors may find parking space at the goose meat diner area along the irrigation/ river bank
