嘉義郡大林庄大湖408番地 1916年(大正5年)祭祀金刀比羅神・大物主命・上簡男命・中簡男命・底簡男命 大林金刀比羅社於大正5(1916)年11月10日鎮座,例祭日為每年的11月10日,神社於戰後先成為糖廠幼稚園,之後又改為圖書室,今在已廢棄的圖書室之附近草叢中,仍保有新高製糖會社嘉義工場為慶祝昭和天皇登基大典紀念碑。

轉貼來源:蘋果新聞網 籲嘉義縣政府保存大林糖廠文化資產 更新時間: 2018/10/30 17:22 作者認為,日前媒體報導的大林幼稚園前「不明石碑」,乃昔大林「金昆羅神社」鳥居旁的「金昆羅参詣碑/山門石」。作者提供 陳宜群/新北市文化資產守護員 日前,大林地方文史工作者江明赫先生,整理荒蕪多時的嘉義大林糖廠園區時,在舊大林糖廠幼稚園館舍前覓見一處「不明石碑座」,用心考證它的身世,疑似跟日治時代大正5年《台灣日日新報》新聞報導:「立石禳鬼,……立石碑於社前及溝畔」軼聞有所關連,據而推測「不明石碑」,是大林第二處「阿彌陀佛碑」石佛碑。 依筆者所知見聞,《台灣日日新報》前文所示,蓋指昔日治大林新高糖廠所設「地神碑(社前)」及「阿彌陀佛碑(溝畔/池塘邊)」,即今日大林糖廠「石頭公」與當地阿彌陀佛廟的「『阿彌陀佛碑』石頭公」兩處,迄今仍舊香火鼎盛,受鄉人祭祀崇拜。換言之,日前媒體報導的大林幼稚園前「不明石碑」,並非《台灣日日新報》相關碑石,謹此澄清,而所謂「不明石碑」,管見以為,其乃昔大林「金昆羅神社」鳥居旁的「金昆羅参詣碑/山門石」,祈請鑒察,望大家指教。 另外,蠻值得一提的兩件趣事,關於「阿彌陀佛碑」(今阿彌陀佛廟的石頭公)與「地神碑」(俗稱:大林糖廠石頭公,或坊間謠傳的糖廠員工殉職碑)。 由於,二戰告終後,大林糖廠日本人離台歸國,日本移民依據其宗教信仰所設置的「阿彌陀佛碑」石佛,被當地漢人續以「石頭公」奉祀,並擴建成一間聞名的廟宇,並依附坊間「大林水鬼」稗官野史,成為地方傳奇。 至於,原日本移民與大林新高糖廠所設置的「地神碑」,則仍舊被戰後的大林糖廠從業人員所祀奉,變成「大林糖廠石頭公」,年年舉辦隆重的祭拜儀典,因此,它也被當地人誤會為「追思糖廠殉職員工的記念碑」,其實不然。由此兩件軼聞趣談,足見台灣人善良淳樸的本性、多元文化的包容力、及大家敬天畏鬼的傳統民間信仰,盡在其中。 承上所述,筆者謹呼籲,盼嘉義縣政府當局能協助江明赫老師後續相關文化資產守護事宜,以審理及維護前述歷史古蹟。嘉義縣大林鎮曾是清代漁獵經濟集散中心、日治新高糖廠及日本移民村等歷史舊地,境內擁有多處日治時期的歷史古蹟跟有待提報登錄的文化資產,諸如:日治「大林新高糖廠-阿彌陀佛碑」、「大林新高糖廠-地神碑」(俗稱:大林糖廠-石頭公)、「大林金昆羅神社之『金昆羅参詣碑』」(大林糖廠幼稚園前方的碑石)……等,管見以為,它們皆值得有關單位予以關注,誠盼嘉義縣政府能夠出面協調地方,早日完成其文化資產審議暨登錄事宜,俾善盡地方政府文化資產守護職責。 最後,容許筆者野人獻曝,以一首漢詩拙作《嘉義大林糖廠采風》,呈送給嘉義縣政府及受人尊崇的江明赫老師表示敬意,向他們用心守護嘉義縣地方文化資產的行動,薄以謝忱。並願,大家一起來關心大林文化資產,重視「嘉義縣大林糖廠區域性文化資產保存」議題,進而帶動大林鎮地方文化觀光之發展。 【漢詩】嘉義大林糖廠采風 (昔大林-新高糖廠「金昆羅神社」舊跡懷思) 作者:奎山艸廬生 陳宜群 (1999年5月23日 詩作) 大林糖廠采民風,神社舊遺勝蹟豐; 大物主神揚海外,金昆羅石奪天工; 地神碑座人參拜,天造御靈神祀宮; 景冠諸羅十八鎮,鹿溝文史憶思崇。 【註】 (1)大林糖廠: 即嘉義縣大林糖廠,昔日為日本人建設之「新高糖廠」。 (2)神社舊遺: 昔時新高糖廠,廠區設有多處日本時期古跡碑石及神道祀宮舊式建築,它曾設有一處大林「金昆羅神社」,神社正殿位置約是舊大林糖廠附設幼稚園,大林糖廠廢廠後,幼稚園也隨之廢校,目前場區一片荒蕪,屋舍頹圮,野草蔓生。 (3)大物主神: 「大物主神」為日本神道教主神之一,此神通常與「金刀比羅大神(金昆羅)」同祀,一併在「金昆羅神社」奉祀。 (4)金昆羅石: 即昔嘉義縣大林糖廠「金昆羅神社」入口處,其鳥居旁邊所設置的大林糖廠「金昆羅」(“参詣碑/山門石”)石碑,其位置約在舊「大林幼稚園」(原神社正殿)前方處,今日僅剩其「石」及「基座」,石頭上面的字跡(‘’金昆羅‘’字樣)已遭受人為抹去,碑文不復見。值得一提,「金昆羅」参詣碑(山門石),戰後常遭當地漢人以訛傳訛說成是「御大典記念碑」(御大典記念碑,應該設置於其他地點,非該「大林金昆羅神社」鳥居旁的“山門石/参詣碑”),其實是移花接木之誤解,謹此澄清。 (5)地神碑: 即(大林糖廠)金昆羅神社「地神碑」,該石碑為「素石碑(無刻字樣)」及「莊嚴精雕的基座」,被大林漢人俗稱大林糖廠區「石頭公」,它自日治時期以來,迄戰後及廢廠前,每年大林糖廠人員皆會按照慣例,定期舉辦祭拜地神慰靈活動。由於,祭祀活動皆由大林糖廠的員工操辦,因此,民間人士霧裡看花,便以訛傳訛的誤會,把「地神碑」誤解為是「記念日治時期新高糖廠殉難員工之慰靈碑」,其實是謬誤,因為該「地神碑」設置於「大林-金昆羅神社」神宮正殿不遠處,依照神道教的風俗,應該是「地神碑」,非「糖廠殉職員工慰靈碑」(殉職員工碑,應另有其他地點,不太可能設在神宮的聖地。) (6)天造御靈神祀宮:即指「大林金昆羅神社」,依照日本神道教的教義所設立之神宮。 (7)鹿溝文史:嘉義縣大林鎮,昔日舊稱「鹿角溝、鹿窟溝、大莆林」,簡稱「鹿溝/大林/大莆」。
