The land god is one of the popular gods in Chinese folk beliefs. It is mainly popular in the Han area, and some ethnic groups affected by the Han culture also have beliefs. The land god belongs to the local protector god in folk beliefs, and is a good ghost ghost with fortune; in mainland China, during and before the Republic of China, there were scenes of worship of land gods wherever Han people lived. In traditional Chinese culture, the sacrifice to the land god is the sacrifice to the earth, and most of the modern times belong to the meaning of praying for blessings, asking for wealth, keeping peace, and protecting the agricultural harvest. The land god is also a deity with lower status among Taoist gods and closer to the people. Among the folk beliefs in Taiwan, the true king of the altar and the god of fortune (the lord of the land) are the gods of wealth and patron saints of companies and trading companies. Customs have penetrated to this day. On December 16th, the Tooth Day, the year-end tooth sacrifice day of the land gods, businesses or institutions entertained employees on this day.
