牛埔仔牛刨泉百年古井有個故事，據說在清末民初時，因當地乾旱沒水喝，剛好有條牛找到此地，並向下刨出水來，所以才叫牛刨泉。居民為記錄這段傳說，在林家保正古厝前重建農夫與牛的情境，除了古井和古厝，面對古厝再往左走，還有一個可愛的榴南社區公園，可一併參觀。

There is a story about the 100-year-old ancient well in Niupuzi Niupaiquan. It is said that in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period, there was no water to drink because of local drought. Just a cow found this place and dug out the water, so it was called Niupaiquan. In order to record this legend, the residents reconstructed the situation of farmers and cattle in front of the Linjiabaozhengcuo. In addition to the Gujing and Gucuo, facing the Gucuo and then left, there is also a lovely Luan Community Park, which can be visited together.
