Located in the Congziliao tribe of Shannei Village, Yuanchang Township, Yunlin County, Gu’an Palace is a temple with a long history. He moved from Jiaoziliao, Chiayi to Dongshi Lucuo, where he was named Wu Wenzhong as a major disciple, and then went to the village to teach martial arts, spells, and medical skills. I will welcome Yizun Kaitianxianren, and worship him day and night. Wu Taiyi mastered martial arts and was called Jiutianxuan Goddess Boxing. The villagers sought advice from him and taught him endlessly. Later, he respectfully invited the two statues of Nvwa Empress and Jiutianxuan. At that time, the villagers Wu Da, Xiao Maozhu and others initiated a proposal to build the altar with their feelings and power. In the 40th year of the Meiji era (1907), a grass altar was built in the north of Yuemei Pond in the village. From the northwest to the southeast, it enshrines the three statues of Kaitian Xianren, Nuwa Empress, and Jiutian Xuannv. It is also called the "Star Temple", also known as the Xianren Gong Temple, and the Baoyitang Guoshu Pavilion is set up, with Xiao Jintong as the first curator. Afterwards, the grass altar fell into disrepair for many years. In 1931, the villager Xiao Ma, and Wu Maqi invited the villagers to discuss the demolition and construction of the Xingtian Temple. It was completed in the fall of the 11th year of Showa (1936). Take a seat. During the Sino-Japanese War in the 34th year of the Republic of China, Japan surrendered, Taiwan recovered, and the Temple of Stars was so prominent, and its followers increased. In October of the Republic of China, the villagers found that the space was old and narrow, and it was difficult for pilgrims to come and go. There is even no place to stand during the festival. For this reason, villager Xiao Wenjin initiated a proposal to invite villagers to discuss reconstruction, which was unanimously approved by the whole village, and immediately established a reconstruction committee to start the construction of the ancient an palace.
